You might face these problems.
1- It will either not boot at all forcing you to blindly flash the card with the original BIOS. (in other words it might brick your card and your card will not show display anymore)
2- 192-bit won't be recognized by your card even after BIOS flash and it can cause problems because of memory timings and such.
3- They are based on same cores but the ASIC is different I wouldn't do it if you don't have a back up.
4- Do you know that 1.21 is only a 4.3% voltage increase when compared to 1.16? That means it won't increase your OC by much. 4% more OC headroom at most on core and probably 0% increase in memory OC. I think it doesn't worth the risk if you want to keep your investment.Edited by HeadlessKnight - 10/20/13 at 6:53am
