That's a great custom loop, although given haswell and ivy bridge TIM problem, don't expect magic temps.

Over the H100, I'd say you'll get a quieter loop and more reliable, although the XSPC pump is known to be more failure prone than others, at least previous revisions. You might be able to get a Swiftech Elite Kit, it comes with a nice pump integrated into the waterblock.

At least corsair seems to cover damage in case of a malfunctioning unit, but I would get a high end air cooler rather than the H100i, it will be quieter, cheaper and more reliable.

If you must choose between that custom kit and the h100, I'd either get the custom one, or go air. Perhaps you can get the 4670k and go for a kit with the D5 pump?

If you think you would like to add gpu water cooling in the future, then go with custom now. Otherwise I would go with an all-in-one.

I don't know much about the xspc pump, but it is worth investing in a Swiftech 655/Laing D5 pump. Excellent pump - quiet powerful and still going strong after 5 years.

Cheers thumb.gif

p.s. Don't forget to add a drain line

The H100i and the custom loop you chose are not even in the same price range. They are at different ends of the spectrum. Any custom loop, even the Eisberg you were looking at is going to beat the standard CLC's like the H80i, X40 or H100i.

If i get the custom eisberg will it need maintance? Or it will work like the h100 (just install and dont care about the water and so on only to clean the rad)?

Both the custom loop and the Eisberg will need maintenance eventually as compared to the H100

Custom loop would have superior cooling of course, but the H100i is a good closed loop cooler. Mine has served me well. No maintenance was a big plus for me. I barely find time to game, much less do maintenance.
