Try and find something saying advanced chipset settings, then change configure DRAM timing by SPD to disabled, settings for memory should be in there.

It still sort of powers down a couple of mins into running the program.

The CPU temp was at 53 degrees, is this too high? or should it still have been able to continue?

Ok just set it to 1.22

it's now idling at 51 degrees

and 65 at full load,

not sure if i should try to benchmark it. Those temps are quite high.
