If I am willing to fork over the cash for express shipping, I should be able to get the card within 2-5 business days. Shipping and processing usually takes 24 hours so realistically, when it is shipped out, there is a very low possibility of me getting the card when the game comes out.
Another point I would like to make is the assumption that there would be a massive volume on the orders and there would be a possibility that the demand for these cards exceed supply. If I go to my local dealer (NCIX), I would be able to pick it up on the day of (if they have inventory at the locations). However, knowing most people, we have jobs that span 8-9 hours of the day. So for me from 8am to 5pm, I am at work. This greatly lowers my chances of getting the card.
The final, most optimistic view, is there is a pre order from NCIX and I nab it before any one else and be able to pick it up after work the day of the NDA lift.
Of course this is assuming that I can read all the reviews and make an informed decision in record time....
That is my rant. They are cutting it too close in my opinion.
