I bought this switch from frozen cpu and was hoping to use it for my computers power button but I'm not sure if i can now after doing some reading. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks a lot like a toggle switch. You might be able. But most likely will be a pain in the neck. If it is a toggle switch I'm not sure it is possible.

a power button only makes contact when it is pushed in.
so if you were to use a switch it`d be the same as pushing the button constantly in.

you can use it for fans or maybe switch it 2 times every startup smile.gif

I think I am just going to pick up a couple more (i think i can get them cheaper on another site) and then use them for my LED's/CC bars. I'm going to go look for another military themed button for my build (in my sig) and run all of them next to each other in a 5.25 bay. Thanks for the input.

I've always wanted a big red button of the ""do not touch this button" type as my power button

Site does not list whether this is momentary type switch or not. I have seen these large toggles as momentary type, which will spring back once you release them. I'd contact Frozen CPU and ask.
