still need help with my ram (-_-)a

Ok! I'm still a complete ram noob in my eyes (probably yours as well). I was able to OC my RAM (the corsair's listed below) to 205mhz at 2-3-3-6 in single channel. but, it was unstable. previously, i tried for 210mhz at 3-3-3-8 and that didn't go well at all. my computer wouldn't boot or let me save other changes to the bios. i ended up having to reseat my cpu and take off the cmos jumper for a good amount of time. now, i know this ram is much more capable than 205mhz, so i'm wondering perhaps its my mobo or cpu stopping me. anyone have answers? i'll give the max mobo fsb testing a go (from the guide) and see if i can get any answers from that. and, as far as i know, bartons normally reach beyond 210fsb's quite easily.

thanks for the help!

sorry for the double post, but you guys already know of my verbal diarrhea
i changed my settings a little bit and was able to get 210x10.0 for 2100mhz. previously it was 200x10.5 also for 2100mhz. it was when i tried 210x10.5 that i ran into trouble. i know i'm near my max with this cpu unless i up the vcore to 1.825 or higher; currently sitting at 1.750v. should i try to go higher with this fsb? i'm pretty sure i can. duke said i should be able to reach ddr500 but 250mhz is a long way to go! anyways, i'll stop squirting comments out and let you guys respond (-_-)

Sometimes high vcore can destroy your OC! My 3000+ works @ 2100 200x10.5 @ stock with only 1.55v! My CPU is looked so I can only raise FSB but I can run 210x10.5 with 1.65v, 220x10.5 @ 1.75 and with 1.8 I run 225x10.5!
Have disabled Caching and Mirroring in BIOS?
Check if you can OC better with just one stick! And don´t run CL3 on these rams @ 205 or 210MHz better set CL2 or 2.5-3-3-6 or 7-2T! On 1T they won´t OC well cause the mem controller is on its limits with 2x1GB @ DDR400
