I got a great deal locally on a 600T (solid side panel), But, I really want the white edition one.

Any thoughts on Plasti-dipping my case white? Its brand new in box, I could sell it, but shipping will kill me.

Any input will be appreciated!

Do you have experience painting with spray cans?

Yes.

I plasti-dipped the chrome grill, emblems and window moldings on my Acura TSX. It came out great.

I had zero experience painting with spray paint cans, but I still made my radiators and blades of my Gentle Typhoons white. If you have no experience with em, just do a bit of reading and it should be easy (though long) process.

Go for it then. It would be cheaper to do, and since you like the case but not the color, seems the most obvious option. thumb.gif While you are at it might as well use some clear coat to protect it and give it a nice finish.

I actually was going to use red plasti-dip on my current case mod but if you think about it the side panel will rub off the paint on the case when you slide it on.

The trick to rattle cans is to spray light layers. The first layer is to create a base for the next layers to grip. 10 minutes between each coat, and you want about 3/4 coats. Will come out very even and have some durability to it thumb.gif

Patience is the hardest part tongue.gif

The 600t's side panels are different and shouldn't rub off.
