Alienware now offering AMD 8990 in their desktops?

Friend and I were chatting about cases and I wanted to see what they updated on their Alienware Aurora Cases, was tinkering with what they offered and how much. Saw they are offering AMD 8990 GPUs, I'm sure it's a mistake and give you a 7990. Could you buy it, use it for a couple months and return it for full cost because you didn't get what you paid for?

Why would you lie about not getting exactly what you ordered?

8000 series are for OEM channel, meaning they are re-branded 7000 series cards. 8990 probably equals 7990.

Good to know you have a sleezy mentality out of the gate.

As stated, the 8990 is an OEM rebrand of the 7990. You'll certainly get what you pay for.

Ah didn't know that 8000 ever existed, yet. Why is there even an OEM channel for these cards or cards in general?
