It's supersampling AA. The highest quality of AA available right now - of course, the most computationally intensive one too. But this way, you are not locked to an integer multiple (which has its pros and cons).

Not really, a 670 can push 1440p rather nicely for like 99% of titles out there.

Having AA is not important in 1440p since the PPI.


GSYNC is stupid in this case... Spending more money when one could put towards another card in SLI which leads to 60+ FPS in most titles. Rendering GSYNC irrelevant in 60Hz monitors.

Depends on what games he/she plays

Crysis 3, Tomb Raider, Metro LL

my 1254mhz 670 couldn't handle it. My SLI 670's could.

My 780 couldn't handle it. My SLI 780's can. thumb.gif

Taxing the video card more is given since that is a higher resolution but other than that nothing else?
