I don't know if I should put it in dual loop or get the reservoir with two pumps pushing the water through the single loop. Help much appreciated.
A reservoir isn't going to help with cooling, and adding another pump might but just a little. Sounds like you have plenty of rads for a CPU and single GPU both overclocked, and a single loop should be fine.
What GPU temp is 'extremely hot' to you?
What are your ambient temps? (avg room temp)
What fans/pump you are using?
If the GPU is getting hotter than it should I'd probably first make sure I had the GPU block properly seated (not too much thermal paste, didn't forget to peel off the covering on both sides of the thermal pads, etc). If that's not it I'd try increasing fan speeds & pump speed if possible.
All that said, I'm new to water cooling myself. I've been reading topics like this for more than a year now & I like to think I have a pretty good grasp on things, but there are MANY others here on OCN with lots of experience who can be much more helpful than I can, especially if you can provide the little bit of extra info I asked about.
