Yeah, it's pretty much like that with every section of photos i've posted. I go insanely overboard taking pics cuz i know that most of em are gonna look like garbage once i look at em on my laptop.
Also, like 2 nights ago, i started using this app Camera_FV5 on my GS3. It's a great camera app. Probly gives the best chance to get realistic, good quality photos on a phones camera. It has an option to take exposure bracket HDR photos. I've been using the option for the past cpl days, but didn't actually start messing with the HDR side of it til like 20 minutes ago. I just downloaded a cpl HDR apps for my Laptop.
You basically set an exposure bracket anywhere from -2 - +2 (on my GS3 anyway) and tell it to take pics at whichever exposures u want everytime u press the camera button. I've been having it take a pic every 0.5 between -2 & +1. I'm gonna have to spend some time messing with the HDR's i took last night, cuz i just uploaded one exposure bracket into Photomatix and it came out looking 100x better.
Example: Here's the 5 photos
Here's quick HDR i made with them:
I know it's still not perfect, but i think it's better than what i've been posting. I just made that quickly with a Preset in Photomatix.
I know HDR is probly nothing new to alot of/most of you guys. Pretty much anything Photography related is brand new to me though.
Also, i've been using White Cathodes in alot of my newer photos. Since sunlight's the best source of light to use, and I take most of my photos between like 10PM and 3AM, i figured White Cathodes would be the closest thing to sunlight. Actually works out pretty decentEdited by kpoeticg - 11/23/13 at 12:32pm
