Both the Cutting and Mandrel Kits come in 13mm & 16mm sizes.

13mm is meant for 12mm, 13mm, 1/2".

I was trying not to get the 13mm Mandrel Kit since i'm only doing my mobo in 12mm tubing. I'm pretty positive that the rest of my loop will be 16mm tubing, if i can find decent 16mm fittings by then. So i'm probly gonna have to order the 16mm Mandrel Kit & 16mm Cutting Kit at some point too.

The Measuring Kit & Heatgun are universal (obviously lol)

Here, this shows all the current options http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g30/c633/s2087/list/p1/Liquid_Cooling-Tubing_-_Rigid_Acrylic-Rigid_Tubing_Tools-Page1.html?id=32vsvCqR&mv_pc=5748

Edit: Also, my Aquaero mod is still being attempted. I was trying to find a shielded version of the cable i'm using, but couldn't find anything. So i just ordered 2 more of the connectors i need tonight. I got an extra one in case i find a way to mess up, the staggered pins in those connectors are soooooo fragile and flimsy.

I'm tellin' ya, you really don't need a bending jig, just do a few practice bends and you'll probably get the hang of it. My first bend was documented in video and I didn't use a jig, and it came out perfect.

Lol, now you tell me. :p

Well i already ordered the 13mm mandrel kit, but who knows maybe if i can get good with bending, i won't need to order the 16mm kit later

Edit: SOG, Monsoon's an American company. And a small company at that (pretty sure). If you have any interest in the kits, just grab them from fcpu and ppc whenever they have em in stock because they always sell out quick. I don't think Geno's able to make these things fast enough

Ordering stuff from US (even UK) sites will add a customs tax*. Of course now that I'm working for realz again, I could give myself a raise biggrin.gif

Yeah i know that it would cost you a bit more to get a kit. Aquatuning started carrying Monsoon Compressions a while back, but they're definitely not up to date. Don't even think they carry the Hardline fittings yet. They'll probly carry the Kits in a few months or so, but if you want one anytime soon, i'd definitely recommend just biting the bullet and ordering from FCPU this week before they sell out again.

The Measuring Kit is also extremely useful. Can't speak for the Mandrel Kit because it'll be here tomorrow, but i considered using random objects to make my bends and i really like the fact that the mandrel kits encapsulate the tubing when you're bending.

Also been working on my Ram & EK Monarchs all day. Almost done. It's funny how the littlest things end up taking so much time. Would've been quicker if i didn't bother with the Gelid Extreme tho. Needing to keep filling a cup with hot water to keep the Gelid spreadable adds a little time.

I've been taking pics, i'll post em after i finish.

About the only hope of hard line stock is overclockersuk and all there listings have been stating preorder or "out of stock" since they listed them. Hopefully by the time I get round to tubing up the XB, they'll have some in stock but won't hold my breath for it. I'd use FCPU myself but the postage charge is a bit steep.

If I can time it right, we have some American clients in our building and one of the guys has brought me stuff back from the states before, so might end up asking if I can get it delivered to his address and he can bring them over after his next trip home. probs just the hardline fittings themselves. The full fitting kit my a bit much for his baggage allowance.

I'd like to pick up the full kit, mandrils measuring kit heat gun. i got some of the gelid extreme paste in the syringe instead of the pot. Makes applying it so much easier. I've tried with pots of paste before to disastrous effect redface.gif so only use the syringes these days. look forward to seeing the pics in the morning, hopefully after some sleep. Have fun with it.

It's almost impossible to find the full Monsoon Kit ANYWHERE in stock. I don't know anywhere that's had the full kits since like 2 days after launch. Unless you actually need the heatgun, the prices are the same if you buy all the kits separate.

I had to stalk PPC and FCPU to get my kit together. Measuring Kit from PPC, Cutting Kit from FCPU, and finally now i'll have the Mandrel Kit tomorrow. Those 3 kits together cost the same as the all in one kit, and the only thing missing is the heatgun, which i have no use for.

I buy the syringe too. I should buy the jar of it since the syringe comes only filled like 1/4 of the way. You'll see in these pics what i meant about the hot water.

Anyway, i might've went overboard with the pics. But here they are...

Edit: That metal ruler in the pics is what i used to seperate the heatsinks for the last 2 sticks. That's why it's in the pic. Much easier than a CC in my opinion. Just stood the Trident up and slid the ruler in like a slim-jim in a car door. Popped the heatsinks right open =)
