As for Borderlands... Well my love knows no boundaries... biggrin.gif Personally, for me, Borderlands and especially Borderlands 2 are combined in my top 5 games of all time. Probably number 2 to be honest. It's the perfect marriage of FPS, adventure, humor and looting, lots of looting and gun hunting. The game is ridiculously addictive and combines everything I love about FPS games and adventure games like fallout into one masterpiece that you can play with your friends with the inclusion of one of the most complete co-op experiences ever put in a game.

If you buy Borderlands 1 & 2, get going on Borderlands 1 first for a couple of hours and if you aren't completely in love and addicted I will personally reimburse the cost of the games via PayPal with zero hesitation. Dead serious.

Fallout 3 was a better story IMO. Fallout Vegas was made a few years later after technology had come a little farther and it showed. The game was more aesthetically pleasing and less buggy, but Bethesda's lack of involvement showed alot to me.

Borderlands 1 => 2 has been on my list for a while. I'm definitely gonna play them both. I expect to like em for sure, just haven't gotten around to it yet. "Too many suckaz sick games, not enuff time....." :band:

I love this kind of "off topic" if it can even be called that.. the build log is for a machine so he can finally get to play PC games / console games on PC (IIRC)
As for spooky games, have you tried "Slender: The Eight Pages" - It is a vary short game, running around in a forest collecting pages (no idea what they are for.. not the point of the game)
I never gotten all 8 pages.. just too scary for me, lol tongue.gif
Some of my friends came by one time and told me to try it.. I was fairly skeptic that it wouldnt be that scary with 4 friends in the room.. boy was I wrong! if nothing else, their reactions made the fear factor go up a few more points.. almost gave me a heart attack.

Speaking of Borderlands 2.. Im gonna start playing that again smile.gif I believe I got a bonus character that I havent played yet.

Never even heard of that one :p

I don't mind being scared by horror games. It's just when i'm sitting there by myself going on gaming binges that it messes with my mind lol.

And yeah as far as the build log, it was meant to be just a plain build log when i started it. Too many damn complications to keep it on track. At this point, i'll just be happy when i can finish it and hope i do better next time :)

Just finished Dishonored btw. Good game. Thinking if i should use all the DLC now since it's GOTY or move on to something else. Either way, bout to head up to my sisters to have Mothers Day dinner with my mom and sis. Then spend the night and come back tomorrow.

Meh. Almost all PCIe SSDs are just two SATA drives on a cheap PCIe bridge. RAID0 offers generally no real world performance increases. Until Windows supports booting from NVMe drives I say pass. Only the non bootable PCIe SSDs (i.e FusionIO) are worth a damn at the moment IMO. Moving away from my RevoDrive 3 to a single SSD was a great move. It reduced my boot times by 10s and it had no noticeable decreases in real world performance.

It's just something to stick in the 4th slot since i don't plan on going quad cfx. I don't know if i'll end up gettin one for this build, i wish i knew the difference between Samsung EVO & Pro before i got the EVO tho. I woulda either gone with 2 Pro's or just got a larger EVO.

Thats weird, you must have had the crappy driver if changing to a regular SSD helped your boot times..... Hell it doesn't even take 10s for mine to boot when I have a Revo 3 Installed. And it is true that its basically Nand to a Sansforce controller...... but there is alot more to it than that. The Revo 3 offers superior latency times over any regular SATA SSD can offer. And you can boot from a FusionIO drive as well, I had a 320gb one, upgraded the firmware and booted from it no problem. Had it running in my server. biggrin.gif

Seriously, stop talking about PCI-e SSDs. I already have spent enough money... tongue.gif
