I was pretty sure that compact fluorescents don't emit a full spectrum and I think I'm right:
Which means there are dips in the "white" spectrum of these bulbs. They will never give a truly perfect color rendition because they don't emit a full spectrum of light... and you might be pulling your hair out over it.
Come on you really did not know this?? i would have thought you did. these lamps are not perfect and not they do not give the full spectrum of light but for what we are trying to do they are cheap and perfect for the job I think as you can correct this with software. the bulbs I have 105 watt ones were 20 dollars each and they do have a better range but still not the full spectrum of the light waves. actually you need 2 or more types of lamps to get the full spectrum of light and I can not remember where I learned or read this!!! part of getting old and being a old partying pervert... killed not only bad brain cells but also some good ones!!!!!
