The important numbers would be Windows 8.1 vs Windows 8 and Windows 7.

I think differences will be minute, these could all be driver improvements.

Let's pretend they aren't stupid enough not to factor in the fact that the i5-4670k is a MUCH better CPU that far outweighs the difference between the two's iGPU's.

the 6800k is a great "all in one" sort of package, but just because it can be 300% better than Intel's crappy iGPUs doesn't mean the 6800k's that great..

I mean, a cow is faster than a turtle, but in no way is a cow fast lol.

It is nice to see some tangible increases in performance with Windows 8.1 Keep them coming!

It seems like with all of the NVIDIA news this week, AMD wanted to make sure enthusiasts didn’t forget about them – especially when it comes to Windows 8.1 performance.

This part of the article sums it all up. When the start showing slides of improvements on the cpu side, then they'll have my attention.

well just for argument's sake can't we say the same of intels cpu prowess?

So the new driver squeezed out 6% performance increase.

And AMD further squeezed out 109.5/106 = 3.3% increase from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1.

Just because intel's cpu is marginally faster than Amd cpu doesnt mean intel apu is great.

In an apu I welcome better gpu.
