4770k prime 95 delidded temps?

Hi all,

I recently delidded my i7 4770k, and while it provided a tempurature decrease, im still hitting mid 80's in the prime95 blend test after about a half hour @ 1.325v and 4.6ghz. I used coolaboratory liquid ultra on the die, and mx4 on the IHS for the h100i. While my temps arent bad, and they barely hit 60 in the most intense gaming, I feel like these temps might still be a tad high. Does anyone else have comparable results?

I get low to mid-80s at 1.335V with an X60, so you are in the ballpark. Doesn't sound like anything significantly wrong with your setup.

Posted above is right, temps seem OK for that voltage and OC, especially on Haswell.

Interesting to see what Broadwell brings to the table.

Try running AIDA64, and see what temps you get.

I'd recommend you stress out your system for 24 hours with that OC as well.

Thanks for the reply Forceman. I dont think my temps are bad, im happy with the results so far. However, I figured I would see the most dramatic effects of the delid in the higher temperature range., but shes still up in the 80s...ohwell!
