Better combat and customizable companion armor. They confirmed the latter; it's not full blown customization like in DA:O or modded DA2 but it will suffice. Combat in DA2 was awful generic and unbalanced crap, while it was perfect in DA:O. They need to go back to its roots and improve from there, not that DA:O's combat needs much improvement.

It better have save imports on PC...

This is the least official DA:I thread I've ever seen. Though it's only the second DA:I thread I've seen, it seems good games are a mystery to OCN.

Most really good games are a mystery on OCN (or just have the smallest following ever), most people like to play console style games - but enjoy saying they play them at 60 FPS.

Wow, someone else actually realizes this. That makes... three of us?

well.. BECAUSE it's EA i think alot of people are taking a wait and see approach with this one. i seriously doubt DA2 would have been released if it wasn't EA driving the boat... and i bet ME3 would have had a better ending too...

if they don't get DA3 right, i'm ready to write bioware off as dead in the water.

I completely agree with you, its good to see that people aren't blind to EA. I just wish it will be like DR:O, just with better graphics and maybe better world exploration

You're right about that, though most people are unaware that EA is to blame for DA2. Still, even DA2 stands head and shoulders above most games and most RPGs in today's industry. ME3 was amazing until the rushed ending, which isn't that bad with Extended Cut but still could have been done better. Most other developers have struck a greater amount of false notes than just this.

Pretty much.

I always thought gaming on PC also meant people enjoyed thinking for themselves and just a more mature approach to games. I need customization, i hate being held by the hand, and i like a challenge.

These days all i play is Demons Souls, Dark Souls, DA: O and i'll play BF4 occasionally with mates for some fun.

There won't be save import but they create a better system where you can create a save that will have all the choices you made in DA:O and DA2 or whatever choices you like to experience

I have no doubt that DA:I will be on par or even better than DA:O from what i've seen from the interviews, info ,plus they have a lot more time with DA:I

For anyone interested

prior to EA, i'd believe it.

post EA, a grain of salt

to this date i have a hard time believing DA2 was a bioware product.

I really liked the premise of Origins because it made you feel special when being that grey warden. DA:2 took that away and i hated it. gamplay and everything else. I really want to see DA:I do FAR better than origins.

I fear it is impossible. Proper RPGs are far too advanced for the average user here.

I don't think you have I worry. It's a day 1 buy for me and I think it will start getting more buzz closer to release date. Of course, I'm getting it for PS4.

Why would you get it on PS4 if you have a PC already? Especially an RPG like Dragon Age; good mod support, and playing it on a controller must be torture.

Ehh, I have played the last 2 on my ps3 without too much difficulty. Unlike most people here I don't have a "PC gaming master race" attitude. I actually have DA:O off Steam from when i got cheap last year but haven't even booted it. I guess dumping 400 hours of my life into the ps3 version kinda soured me on it. Love the game but I really don't want to play it again for another 50 hours.
