Razer Destructor from 2008 vs 2013 mats

Guys,

I'm very interested what I might be missing these days with all new mouse pads vs my old Razer Destructor. Isn't that really a gimmicky marketing pressure out there?

It's gimmicky. There are of course differences between materials and the potential thread. Production quality and so on. But all the quality mousepads are pretty indistinguishable. If you need a new one, get one. If not. There is no real reason as why you should get one.

So, looks like the game hasn't changed much since. So far I noticed mechanical keyboards and laser mouses, mats - not that much.

IMHO, the Destructor 2 looks cooler and more "serious" than the space-ship-like-Original Destructor

Im think of purchasing the destructor 2 or my a razer control edition mouse mat Im wonder if it will fit my sensitivity style though the friction on my qck heavy inst helping me in BF3 cant make small precise movements but its great in games like cs and quake were I needed the friction. If you ask me though the 2 look pretty solid from the first one
