BF3 current gen console hit detection question.

Recently I decided to make the move back to console and get my thumbs ready for the PS4. So, I've mainly been playing BF3. What I've noticed however is the hit detection seems pretty poor compared to PC. 50% of the time My shots don't register. It's quite inconsistent. It's my understanding that current gen consoles limit their bandwidth. Is this "bandwidth" going to open up for the PS4 and X1?

Someone set me straight smile.gif

Thanks.

It seems that there is quite the audio delay as well and I'm not the only one experiencing it. Is this game that jacked up on PS3?

I can't speak for playing bf3 on a console but the PC version has some of the same issues. Mostly its the delay and lag issue with hit detection. Basically there are a lot of double kills, you kill me, I kill you when your both sting at each other at the same time. This happens because of the delay in the hit registering, it's enough for your enemy to have time to register shots back to you to equal is the kills. Bf4 however seems much better in the beta. Like way way better in hit detection. I'm pretty much done playing bf3 since bf4 is coming out. So hopefully the full game is much better in actual hit detection...
