The raw data is indeed insane.. a 15 minute video is 337GB. o_0

I did use the Maldo "Tool" ... customized the settings..I did it when I first got the game so not sure what the exact settings are but I remember maxing out most of the available settings except AA since when I got it, I had 4x GTX-680 Classified in 4-Way SLI which had "only" 4GB of VRAM biggrin.gif

unfortunately. due to youtube, the vid is not watchable frown.gif it wont cache long enough for me to watch it. it would only cache like 10 seconds at a time then stop caching no matter how long i leave it running.

Same problem. Youtube is trash nowadays, they make UI worse with each update and it's very slow. Google should be ashamed.

Baasha, could you consider uploading to Vimeo for example? It generally has better compression quality when it comes to HD videos.

Hmm.. that's strange.. it seems to work well for me.. I tested it on a couple of different systems as well - my secondary rig (check sig) plays it fine(?).

Perhaps the ISP is throttling the connection for you guys?

Also, with Vimeo, it says it will allow only ONE "HD (1080P?? eww) video PER WEEK! rolleyes.gif

Paying to upload videos is not happening... if Vimeo will allow me to upload my content on there at 4K.. I'll do it right away.. but as far as I saw, you have to have a "Plus" or "Pro" account to upload more than 1 HD video per week.. can anyone confirm this?

I wouldn't call Vimeo a real replacement for YouTube. Vimeo really tries to make themselves the place to be for high quality, serious video work. Artsy Fartsy type stuff, high end stuff, shot with a professional look and feel. The limited free HD uploads per week is probably partially aimed at keeping all the kind of random stuff you find on YouTube from ending up there (and, of course, to "encourage" you to buy a professional account. ;P)

YouTube is likely to become the universal online catch-all for every video or film ever made at some point....at which point, the entire Earth will collapse into the black hole that was once upon a time YouTube's data centers, and it will have finally consumed...everything.
