improving my case airflow (corsair obsidian 650D)

Thread Starter
hello guys, have any tried this product or anything similer:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835192026

i know its gonna be useless as a vga cooler, but that is not what i wanna use it as, maybe it can improve my case airflow, my gtx titan is currently attached to the lowest pci-e in my mb so its as low as it can be in my case (just above the psu) and im planing to keep it that way, that and im planing to mount this cooler as high as it can be in my case just below the cpu so that maybe it improves the airflow going to my corsair h100i which is mounted above at the case ceiling, would you think i may get any benefits? or is it useless?

need opinions smile.gif

here is a pic i made using paint as an example to explain my idea better:

green is my geforce gtx titan and yellow is going to be the fans which will blow air upwards to the corsair h100i

Personally, I'd look into flipping your rear fan so it's now an intake instead of exhaust. I don't think the slot cooler is going to get much more air to your H100i since the air the slot cooler pushes upward just might be pulled back out by the rear exhaust before it gets to the H100i. smile.gif

Looks like something to make noise with. biggrin.gif

If you have a bottom intake and 2x front intakes you should be fine. Remove your unused PCI slot over on back to let hot air coming off of GPU out the back instead of moving it toward radiator in top. wink.gif

If you have another vent in front or side that an be an intake move the back exhaust to that intake vent. thumb.gif
