Good.
Lazy devs who use kickstarter should learn a lesson.

Funny you say that cause this game is by a little company that clearly had no problem putting out a shoddy product. Why bring EA and BF4 into this?

There have been plenty of short single player games recently, but even if a game runs out of time or budget - usually developers will still find a way to give it a decent ending... like end on a boss fight or something. These guys were just super obvious about it.

I'd like to hear more about the story behind the game, I have a feeling many new developers underestimate the amount of time and money required to make a game. Seems to happen a lot on Kickstarter.

I would have been pissed if I found out the hard way that the game ends that way, but that being said, I still would have liked to play it. Hopefully Valve puts the game back up with a massive "Unfinished and unlikely to ever BE finished" warning on it.

Called it in the last thread. Valve is very retroactive when it comes to issues like this.

That's what game testers are for.

1 simple play through should be a minimum. Crap games getting by is fine (like war z). But incomplete games? Cmon now.

I don't know...there are some BAD endings out there. FallOut 3? After all your troubles it seems like a rather lame goal. Two Worlds 2? Oh my gosh...no words can describe it. I guess the story was tied up...but dat boss fight. Mafia 2? Not cool...just not cool. I could go on and on...bad endings have just become expected to me these days. I think game writing hit its pinnacle with Baldur's Gate and when down hill from there to be honest.
