Thoughts on AMD's new releases.

AMD's new release is exciting alright, but is it good enough?

i see it this way.
Nvidia did a product rebadge earlier this year, and was able to milk quite the cash out of it.
so AMD decides to do the same with their R9/R7 release.

So here are my thoughts :

1. The new release is pretty much the same as the 7000 Series. with exception to a few cards. ( - )
2. AMD controlling the console market this gen, i expect to see some performance gains in ported games. ( + )
3. TrueAudio is stupid. should've focused on GPU development. ( - )
4. Mantle making Porting much easier. No more > Xbax gotz HALO you Pc Newbz.< ( + )
4.2 Mantle is Opensource ( don't know if thats the word ) So Nvidia can use it. ( + )

and for god's sake i've seen people Cheering the new release because it would make Nvidia slash prices.
lolwut?!?!

Now a little bit of Racism for the heck of it. fire that indian dude. lol jk

What would you do?

1. Sit Back and Wait for Maxwell.
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), default quality

2. Buy the new AMD Cards

Thanks For reading.

Its a rebadge and a price drop for the low-mid range cards. They still offer very good price-performance ratio. Did you want them to release an entirely new lineup? They aren't going to reinvent the entire 28nm line with 20nm right around the corner
