Appraisal: Parts

from my sig rig... I am going intel core 2 duo (already purchased), so i will probably have a few parts to sell next week.

1) AMD x2 4800+ socket 939 2MB cache, which i have running at (245x11) right now, includes stock cooler.

2) DFI lanparty NF4-D ultra (removed fan from NB cooler to allow x1900xt) includes box, drivers, manual, and any cables u need.

3) 4 x Kingmax Harcore 512MB DDR500 ram modules, includes original packaging, which entails lifetime warranty All four modules are from the same batch also. i have had them running at 250fsb (3-4-4-7) consistently with no problems in my p4 system and at 245-250 in my amd system. (two different procs)

4) Arctic freezer pro 64 cooler.

All amd related products owned for 3 months, ram owned for almost 2 years (but they are under lifetime warranty)

My appraisal:
1) $200 + shipping
2) $80 +shipping
3) $200 + shipping for all 4, maybe $65 shipped each
4) $20 + shipping

Proc - $100 bucks. anymore dual core AMD's are easy to get. you can pick up an opty for $150 bucks that'll overclock better and have more cache...

motherboard - $60-70 bucks. Ultra-D's run new for $109 on the egg and i wouldn't pay much for a used motherboard.

ram is right i'd say, $200 bucks for 4 sticks sounds about right. i'd only charge $50 per stick though.

your heatsink $20 bucks

and you could always pay shipping to make it a hell of a deal. its really not terribly expensive. i shipped a proc out last night, 3 day USPS for .94 cents plus packing.

all the 4800+ is though is like an opty w/ a higher multi and a bit less quality wafer. thats why i rate it lower. you can't really get a good price for an AMD used chip anymore.

which will normally require them to purchase new DDR2 ram, a new mobo, and a pcix vcard at the same time. Anyone with a low end single core amd would be interested IMO

I wouldn't mind a 4800+ X2 as I'm happy here with DDR but I'm going for a 3800+ X2 instead - plenty of market out there
