Thanks, I just hate making a thread for small question like this. But I will have to if no one else with more experience with this type of things chimes in.

Thats awesome man!! My new EK blocks will arive this week so I will test mine out. I have been dissapointed in the 290's until tonight. My idle temps have been crazy high, I played BF4 and my frame rates where actually less than my 7950's, due to the top card throttling something terrible. I decided to take the plunge and unlock them tonight, I used the sapphire 290x bios, now the idle temps are where they should be, and BF4 gets me 60+ fps higher than when they were 290's and 0 throttling...its as if the 290 bios was really hurting these things. Both cards are sapphires btw.

Wish my Sapphire unlocked. So disappointed. I should just be happy that I got Hynix memory.

I will be using Dual PSU adapter from newegg LINK

Corsair HX620 Load
Motherboard 24pin
CPU 6 pin
PCIE power (Sata Connector on Gigabyte boards) ??
All other Drives and and fans

Corsair AX1200 Load
4x 8pin PCIe
4x 6pin PCIe

So basically everything will be running off the HX620 except for the Video card PCIe cables which will all be powered by the AX1200.

The big question is mainly about PCIe power cable to the motherboard supplemental PCIE power. That uses the Sata cable to give the slots more power.
I'm wondering should I use that connector from the AX1200 so its the same as the videocards. Or should I use the sata pcie from the HX620 so it has same power as the rest of the motherboard.
You can use either one. If I were you I may use SATA power connector (for EZ_PLUG_1) from AX1200. The only reason is because I just want the GPUs drawing power from the same PSU.

Both of my Sapphy are locked. redface.gif ...but I never plan to unlocked my cards anyway, so it's fine. One card have Hynix & the other have Elpida.
