Are you overclocking with AB? If so, your voltage is probably dropping when it detects your monitors turn off.

I just downloaded catalyst, and guess what? When i wanted to "check for driver update" it sends me to driver page of AMD.

Then whats point of this whole software? Meh O_O

EDIT:
Quick question: How do i remove the black frame?

My gpu is registered as a Radeon gpu in device manager and i am pretty confident i have installed the driver, but still that black frame is there.

I am using HDMI cable, perhaps its the HDMI cable thats causing it?

Really effing annoying how I can't undervolt the core much before the memory starts crapping out...any hard mods for this out there? From what i've seen there's no chance of a software solution on the reference boards.

It appears that it is connected, at least for overclocking. I get much better memory overclocks once I increase the core voltage. My guess is that the limiting factor is the new memory controller, not the memory itself, which would explain why bumping the voltage may help.

In CCC open up the "My Digital Flat Panels" menu and go to "Scaling Options"

No, if I understand correctly it actually sends its info to the Xonar (if you use it as your output device.)

I'm also using a Xonar (DX) and I haven't really noticed a change in audio though.

That's because nothing is using True Audio yet. Thief may be the first game to use it.
