Afterburner with overdrive disabled?

or do you just require overdrive enabled for asus gpu tweak?

i know im being rather specific its just with all the issues ive had with this card so far i keep thinking i must be doing it wrong or something ive never had so many problems clocking a card as this and ive owned a ton of gfx cards lol

So far seems improvement with the latest 13.12 drivers. I can actually OC and not get blackscreen'ed... So far...

For the people having Video playback issues sometimes, this new driver could fix it according to the notes log of it:

"Resolves Metro applications experiencing frame drops during playback of interlaced video content"

What monitoring and overclocking software would be good for a Sapphire R9 290?

Regardless, I'll be sure to update you on the installation and Furmark burn results.

Thank you so much, do you think the MK-26 heatsinks are enough and does it come with enough memory sinks? And rep.

the ASUS R9 290X DirectCU II - MSRP is $570 as per this HardwareCanucks review. How much it will sell for might be another story.

whats the MSRP of the reference models? $550?

Safe to say this card will be around $650? getting really close to TI price there. Hopefully it comes in lower.

I have v-sync on, if that could make any difference.

If you have voltage monitoring enabled, try disabling it. Seems to help some people.

MSI Afterburner works for all cards, and is pretty much the standard.
