GPU usage in Crossfire seems a lot better with Unigine Heaven Benchmark.

@Arizonian, do you think whether it's good idea to add one section at first post for known issue (& also known fix) with Crossfire, e.g. fluctuating GPU usage in some games, flickering texture in BF4, etc?

[EDIT]
This is GPU usage monitored using Open Hardware Monitor while playing BF4 in Crossfire.

@kizwan

Only if someone supplies the entire issue and fix. See OP for example of members who I did add. If you provide an entire write up of issue and fix I'd be willing to add it to OP if it was well done.

My EK-290X block and backplate has arrived. Will install and do some benching tonight.

Originally wanted to go for NZXT Kraken G10, but wife promised me a Corsair 900D for Xmas so went for custom loop instead. Hopefully the results of the block won't disappoint.

any way to make your clock rates stay at what you set them in Asus GPU Tweak?

I've been ocing some in gpu tweak and its working really well except i set it to 1140mhz and it gives me anywhere from 1115 to 1135 mhz depending how it feels but im not getting any of the black screen stuff i was getting before past 1100 and oddly enough Afterburner started black screening me at pretty much any overclock i dont think it was playing well with everything else or something.

wish they could have just kept the 7970 system for overclocking it was so much simpler and reliable. no fluctuations of voltages or clocks just set it and if it works it works.

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but an experienced user/overclocker (mostly CPUs though). I've got 3 brand new Sapphire 290 BF4 edition. I've got no voltage control, no voltage readings even ! Last night I flashed them with the Asus 290 BIOS from techpowerup. The flash was successful but this has not changed a thing (nothing in AB, nothing in GPUtweak, including the hawaii modded one). What am I missing ? I need undervolting badly as my ears are bleeding !

Thanks smile.gif

apps may not be as accurate reading volts, temps, or usage. you may have to check case airflow.
