Most of the times yes, but this time reference cards have superior mosfets. Asus have superior inductors, so it is a mixed result. If you use custom fan like ~ 60% and don't push more then + 100mV you won't be limited by refernce card.

You will be limited by core 99 of 100 times - not the card vrm's...which are more then decent for ~ 1200/1600, but not higher generally on air.

Where do you come up with this fiction? kookoo.gif

On a side note - hoping the MSI 290X Lightning or Galaxy 290X HOF turn out to be power houses and my AX850 can handle it. Guessing mid-January.

Any word on Matle release with BF4 yet? We're on the end of Dec now and thought it would have provided at least some reviews.
Galaxy don't make AMD cards, IIRC!

Not one that says warranty void, but there is a sticker on one of the screws at the back that is almost impossible to take off without tearing.

I am sad tonight I think I was bad this year and santa gave me more than coal....

While gaming I had apparently developed a leak somewhere in my setup and system shutdown.
Now I am just hoping that nothing is damaged. I have been taking apart the rig piece by piece. So far I found fluid in mobo, psu, gpus all 4 ....
I was holding off on adding radiators and waterblocking 4th card. I just hope the psu did its job and shutdown before things died lol.

Some of the "coolants" they sell might be, but a lot of people including me just use distilled water.

Edit: a little googling actually says since a lot of stuff is removed from distilled water that it isn't electrically conductive anymore. Heh you learn something all the time -- makes me feel safer about my loop.
