I don't run with mine overclocked because I'm on stock cooling but I've ran quite a few benches with them at I believe 1175 and 1350 core and ram respectively. That's about all I can do with my power supply. Hope that helps, it was enough for #41 on the fire strike extreme HOF which was enough for me.

In all honesty, I really don't need to overclock with 3 of em, there isn't anything I can't run on my monitor at 100hz at 100fps besides arma3. I also don't run at 120hz because I can't tell the difference between 100 and 120, and it is just less taxing on the cards and the monitor.

If your going to buy one card and money isn't an issue I'd say get a 780ti. If money is an issue get a 290. If your going multiple cards, well 290's with water cooling is what I would do, but only if you can get them at msrp. Can't really make a case for 290x's they are less fast than a ti and more expensive than the marginally slower 290.

One caveat, if you are going multiple cards and not water cooling than ti's are your better bet. The 290/290x's in crossfire with stock cooling are very loud and hot.

Quick question, what clocks do people get on stock voltages on the 290? Mine will do 1155/1625 (ECC does not even kick in). I know the memory is above average, but how about core?

Is it like -5°C where your computer is xD ?
Or perhaps that fan is spinning really fast ?

That's still very impressive. You only have a 240mm and a 120mm rad which don't look like they're equipped with fans in p/p. And you're GPU isnt even alone in there, it's running along side a 3570K (how overclocked is it btw ?).

OR maybe that Quick Disconnect behind the reservoir goes down to a massive 1080mm rad and not strait to the back of the res/pump combo ^^ ?

Which pump is it btw ? I know mine's (MCP 350) not one of the best and I'll change it in due time for a better one. I doubt it'd make that much of a difference though.

The R9 290 I run 1100/1400 w/ +70mV for 24/7 clocks. To be fair, when I run something for over an hour, like a game or folding@home, the GPU will get up to ~43C, but I have not seen anything over 45C since I put this block on.

The 3570K is 4.7GHz w/ 1.296v. Temps get into the low 60C's while folding.

I use the MCP355. And I will be adding one more 120mm radiator to the front of the case but I ran out of fittings. In fact I will be redoing the entire loop with all chrome fittings. That picture was just kind of a test run because I got impatient waiting for all my gear. The quick disconnects were used just so I could transition into other (smaller) fittings because I had run out of 3/4" OD compressions. But it almost looks like they have a purpose. Hell, I might even keep them. I have extra attachments for them so I could use them to drain the loop and swap out parts, etc.

I have 4 of these cards, and my system cannot run all 4 at full load 100% usage. I got a lepa 1600w psu. My whole system just shuts off after couple minutes.

But I can run 3 cards at full 100% usage for hours and hours no problem.

I have the same setup almost. Make sure you arent using shared rails on your lepa g1600.
There are 2 shared rails 12v3 and 12v5 have 2 of the red pcie connectors. I am not on pc right now but refer to the
picture tsm106 posted a while back.

I don't believe this one bit lol.

You're well aware of how good this chip is if true and are just gloating.

Stock volts mean nothing. Until you see the card under full volts then you cant say anything
