These are my settings:

GPU is OCed to 1000/1320
GPU temp:46
VRM1 Temp: 42
VRM 2 Temp: 38
Card is in Uber mode. No throttling is occurring

Everything on Ultra except Post Processing which is Low and AA which is x2. Resolution is 1080p, scaling is at 150% and FOV is 90.

The average 50-55, but closer to 50, with dips to 40 during intense parts with a lot going on, and peaks at 60 when there's nothing happening. This is on domination, siege of shanghai. Its playable, at these settings, but personally I'd tone the settings down a bit to accommodate 60+ fps. Now, if this was operation locker domination, I'd imagine it'd be a lot worse.

And again, my card is OCed to 1000/1320 and I'm not done OCing it yet. Maybe after I can max out the OC, it may be able to better handle 150% resolution scaling?

Yeah, I'll do another max OC soon. I'm kind of interested myself because I want to see if this card, OCed, can push BF4 at 1440P maxed, or with a few settings on high/med.

Isn't MSAA and resolution scaling together kind of redundant? I thought the point of resolution scaling was to use it as SSAA, so you wouldn't want/need to run MSAA also.

I know they work differently, but the purpose of both is to reduce aliasing, which is why it seems strange that you'd want to do both at the same time. Someone already posted a 140% to 4x MSAA comparison, and the aliasing was about the same on both.

I was pulling 470w from the wall as monitored by a Kill-a-Watt. While my CPU consumption is lower than some of you AMD CPU users, and I am using the ASUS BIOS (not PT1 or PT3), I believe my Seasonic X650 is totally up to the task. I fold both CPU and GPU 24/7. That pulls ~370w from the wall. 700w seems like a lot for one 290(x).

for one 290 a good 700W should be plenty. that's what i have and i bench at 1320/1620 but i game at stock. my i7 SB is oc'ed to 4.9GHz during benches. 4.5 for games. also, i use the stock bios.

btw, i don't have much in my system. 3 fans, a pump, and one hdd aside from the cpu/gpu.

Is your card overvolted?

No, I'm at 1080p. 1440p is about 1.7x1080p, so I want to see if this card can run the game at 170% scaling cause I guess in a way that'd give me a BF4 performance at 1440P?
