He said he bought 12 of them to mine and his apartment couldn't handle the power draw biggrin.gif His loss is my gain.

From what i've seen the bf4 edition sapphires were super lucky.

Here is the probably preview with trio: ASUS, Gigabyte and Sapphire Tri-X with added reference 290/290X.

Sapphire is the coldest from all:

Rig pic Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Running these things in crossfire using stock cooler with only 1 slot spacing is really not a long term option as the noise was unbearable, although I liked to keep the temps below 80c instead of the ridiculous 95c target.

Anyone thinking of watercooling the reference 290(X) don't hesitate you will see 50c knocked off the load temp with decent size rad(s).

All the best for the new year smile.gif

Congrats - updated from one to two thumbsupsmiley.png and under water Snorkle.gif

Alright, so I just ran the test again after setting the power limit to 50% and this is what I get for my 3DMark benchmarks:

+100mv
at 1210/1500: 5378
at 1220/1500: 5317
at 1210/1510: 5202

So does this mean that 1210/1500 is my sweetspot? Or is there something else that is limiting my system?

P.S. at stock volts, I get:
1150/1480: 5150

No, power limit and Vcore are completely separate.

Shouldn't you increase your power limit to 50%?

And you can increase your clocks as high as you want, but are you getting any return in performance from those OCs?
