Sadly no, but I already got BF4 from my first 290X, ended up RMA'ing the card but I got to keep the code tongue.gif

And now? Idle and 100% speed ?
Can the card not Regulate (pwm) the icy ? The GTX680 cane not handle the iCY ...

Nope, the heatsink doesn't support PWM, fans run @ 100% :\

Do you change fans?
Max rpm is 2000 and it shows 4000!
http://www.gelidsolutions.com/products/index.php?lid=1&cid=17&id=52&tab=2

I don't know why, stock fans on it, but it gives 4k RPMs, i don't wanna say some b.s. but maybe it sums both fans speeds :\

I'll bench with Fire Strike Extreme in OC to give you results on this smile.gif

Anyone have CF 290s with a 2500k/3570k? I want to know if it'll hold back the cards too much and what kind of OC I'd need to run two of these cards.

My 7970's where held back by my 3770k @ 4.6GHz so yeah I'd say an upgrade will help in games that require a lot of CPU power. You'd enjoy an overclocked 4930k! I'd never go back to 4c/4th or 4c/8th

Dang it, I hate having to spend more money. I wish I went for the 3930K instead of being impatient and buying a 3570K.

I dont think an i5 2500k@4.5Ghz+ will bottleneck CF 290X at high resolutions/AA for modern games. BF4 1440p Ultra will definitely see gains, while something like CS:GO might not (300fps vs 350fps or something)

Ok thx
The icy is very god but not quiet at 100% i have it on a 680 and regulate with scythe fan control
So on the 290x no PWM regulate too ..... its no go for me
thx

A 3570K is a great CPU - i *really* doubt youll see real world gains vs a 3930K or even a 2500k@4.7Ghz unless you turn all image quality options to low or somethign.
