A lot can give an increase. From running the game from a ssd or high speed memory with tight timings. A balance system just that.If you want to see if you are stable you should start with stock and compare the increase vs the clocks. The increase should be linear. 10% oc~10% increase

If you want AUX voltages you need to press the arrow next to core voltage

yeah I was assuming newer versions still had issues where you could set the voltage in msi-ab but it wouldnt actually change it on cards

Is pressing apply the obvious way to apply a setting you changed or does it have anything to do with the widely known bug of msi ab versions 2.x which you could probably search on guru3d if you press apply?

I am talking about version 3. 2.x version is from tahiti release maybe earlier that means 2 years

it's been long time for me with MSI-AB

I was only trying to figure out if people were using previous versions due to glitches like they had in the past

As we both know, the "newest" or "beta" versions aren't always the best to use biggrin.gif

Something just occured to me,http://piclair.com/8jnjm Why does it say "LogMeIn Mirror Driver 7.1.542.0/AMD Radeon R9 200 Series 13.251.0.0/AMD Radeon R9 200 Series 13.251.0.0 (4095MB) x1" Shouldnt it be a x2 in the end? and are the score equivalent for 2 cards?

Thanks, but what exactly is the core voltage doing to the memory?

As I explained in my long post above, using default voltage (0.961 or 0.956 fluctuating) at 1500 MHz memory causes black screen to happen as soon as there is any 2D load (which causes the memory clocks to jump from 150 to 1500=this jump causes the crash as the memory/whatever is unstable). But if you lock the memory clocks at 3D speeds, on the desktop (ilke on a 144hz monitor@144hz), instead of black screening, you see massive horizontal flickering. Raise the core voltage while its happening and it instantly stabilizes.

Power limit and more current in affects stability. With no voltage increase you get black screen but with a small bump you dont. More current helps with stability. You need to understand better the PWM voltage controller

Alse its not something new when tsm got his cards he said it like 2 months ago.
