I agree. Especially on VRM2. I noticed higher temps being affected most in VRM1 if the Core Voltage (mV) increases and i'm sure you guys already know about this. smile.gif

My target is Below 1.3v Max and VRM1 below 90c Max.

It's still your preference by the end of the day. wink.gif

I check the max volts and it goes to 1.305v so I lower the Core voltage to +69 and now the max is 1.289v and the VRM are 68c max while the core is at 80c.

For me it only increases vrm2 by 2C when I used 50mv

Just played BF4 for 2 hours straight, VRM 1 - Max was 50 deg C
VRM 2 - 38 Deg

Currently going through a heatwave here in Western Australia too, running EK blocks - not sure how people are getting such high temps on their VRMs under water given the climate in US atm.
If you mean me, my VRMs are air cooled (and vrm2 is basically not cooled at all).

Plus that is OCCT, so high power consumption.

i am only cooling one 290. my vrm1 is about 3C cooler than vrm2 and about 5C cooler than the core. i used CLU for the core and Fujipoly for the vrms.

Is this normal..? When I apply my memory clock, I get these horizontal lines for like a second. Even if I set it to 1251, I get the lines and when I set it back to 1250 I still get the lines when I apply the clocks... Core clocks are 947 and power limit is 50.

My card is ASUS R9 290 with Hynix memory.
