thats a sign, that you need to bump voltage a bit smile.gif

That's ok, but if you see the lines after the initial bump, you must reduce the MHz.

But it's only when I apply it.... I did some testing and It looks fine to me.

You're fine, you should only start to back off the OC if you crash or see artifacts when under load.

Do asics really matter with Hawaii GPUs? Mines at 74.8% and I wonder how that compares.

I'd say it's a decent place to start and maybe estimate your OCs, my 79.8% ASIC card does 1250MHz at 175mv, but my 24/7 clocks are 1175/1450 at +70mV which is around 1.212-1.22v under load.

Sure they do.

The higher the asic, the less leakage and more efficient the core which translates into more OC headroom on Air.

the lower the asic, the more leakage and less efficient the core is which translates into needing a lot more cooling (water) for decent OCs.

Now if you really mean do OCs really matter with Hawaii GPUs, thats a different question.

Nope. Gpu-z actually doesn't read the asic on hawaii chips accurately.
