You want to try Trixx? it gives +200, which i only recommend for benching. i saw my core voltage go as high as 1.4v at that setting. set the Power Li (power limit) to max.

Dont have the power limit option in Trixx on 4.8.2 It does let me go to 200 though.

Well. I successfully cancelled my order for the ASUS 290x DCII and replaced it with a Saphire 290 Tri-X. Very happy.

Awesome.

EK water block for cooling, though Trixx does have the slider, just have to scroll down to see it. Stupid me. Hmm seems like if I push over 100MV I get display corruptions even though i'm not changing the clocks at all. Ill be running my core at 1150 and at 100mv its fine but 150mv it has issues. Wounder why that is

Why you scared? I have an MSI 290 and haven't had a single problem with it. Black screen are only when memory is running too high. If it can't do stock on mem just RMA. No worries.

Edit: I just ordered one too. smile.gif

good. i have an above average clocker 290 but i play with it at stock. benches, i can go all the way up to 1175/1500 just maxing out the PL. try to the same oc just using the PL and leave the vcore. don't use furmark to check for stability. use 3DMarks and games. i don't mine so can't help you there. watch all your temps even if yours is watered. i use gpuz but it sometimes conflict with other apps.

make sure to Disable CCC Overdrive. use only one app to oc.
