What do you guys think about this: http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/Grafikkarten/VGA-Kuehler-Heatpipes/VGA-Kuehler-Arctic-Cooling/Arctic-Accelero-Xtreme-IV-VGA-Kuehler::26095.html

The PCS+ is a good card too, here in Germany some guys got it and the temps are fine ( Tri X niveau) and it isn t too loud.
These guys are very happy with the PCS+
Actually everybody is now recommending the Tri X or the PCS+ here, no Gigabyte/ASUS/MSI, only those two, because they are the best custom solutions. Sry 4 my bad english.

Both intake because I want both radiator get fresh & cooler air for cooling. In water cooling lower water temp (or lower delta T) is what you want & this allow your watercooled components/devices getting good thermal performance. I see improvement to GPU temps around -5 to -6 Celsius when moving from top exhaust to intake.

Regarding dust, I have dust filter at the front but not at the top. The dust filter on the front worked really well. When I clean my top radiator one or two weeks ago, I don't need to clean the front radiator at all. I really need to get dust filter for top radiator but dust in the case is not really serious. I can clean my case every two or three weeks.

The ambient inside the case not even toasty. I didn't notice any changes in temp though. Maybe just a couple degrees higher.

I've got the black screening issue with my MSI gaming 290x, had it for a little over a week. I'm running stock clocks and it just happens randomly, sometimes when loading a game sometimes when loading something that requires admin rights. Any help for this noob? :/

Try 13.12 WHQL drivers if you've not tried already.

And i think I'm the only person in this club with the DD cards so the only thing you could do is compare High Res pic's of the PCB's.

EK's website has them smile.gif

Hey I am not talking about the XFX DD model I am talking about the XFX Black OC Edition (XFX XFX Radeon R9 290 Black Edition 4GB GDDR5 (R9-290A-ENBC).

According the EK coolingconfigurator an EK-FC R9-290X should fit, bit I would like confirmation from someone who already fitted this block to his card.

EDIT, My AC4 install file has vanished for some reason now.........Sorry, not going to be able to run that test any time soon, gimme a few hours

I could run it quite well with 1 290 pretty much maxed (except I turned down god rays and shadows iirc) although not as smooth as I would have liked. It has to feel butter smooth for me or I'm not happy lol. With crossfire certain parts were butter smooth but there was many stutter parts and screen tearing etc and v-sync screwed everything.
