Load after some minutes: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

i am just gonna guess here but your 12V is dipping down to 11.5v. Gpu was stock, right? this apps, though, may not be too accurate, so i may be wrong to advise you to look at a better psu.

what PSU do you have?

edit: VDDC at load is 1.16v. hmmmm

What should the 12v reading be at?

Mine is 11.75V and dips to 11.63V during the GPU-Z render test

mine is same as yours. tolerance is +/- 5%. it should not go over 12.6v and not lower than 11.4v. 11.5v is cutting it and with the app not being accurate - it could very well be dipping below that using furmark or heavy games.

@quick, I recommend testing your gpu on another rig if possible that has a known good working psu.

Keep in mind these fans are very loud. I have to handle them at 100% even at idle because my fan controller can't handle them. Even MK-26 struggles to keep the card cool. These fans are about as loud as reference cooler at 75%. I also used CLP. I'll have some screenshots coming of temps. thumb.gif

Can you update me to aftermarket Arizonian?

Sweet. When you get them I'll add you to the roster. smile.gif

To be added on the member list please submit the following in your post
1. GPU-Z Link with OCN name or Screen shot of GPU-Z validation tab open with OCN Name or finally a pic of GPU with piece of paper with OCN name showing.
2. Manufacturer & Brand - Please don't make me guess.
3. Cooling - Stock, Aftermarket or 3rd Party Water

Hm... testing on another rig would be a possibility but I need a few days for that because I don't have another rig in my house :/
But I have an additional 400W PSU which I bought accidentally (same brand, same model). Is there a possibility to use it only for the GPU and run the rest of the system over the normal PSU?

see, devilhead's VDDC? that is a good working PSU. I would not use any lower than 500W and 80plus cert for a 290. 2cents.gif

I think the minimum AMP required is about 41A. do not use that 400W.
