Thank you. How do i raise my core voltage? I use afterburner for my fan speeds but the slider on top is blank where it should be able to adjust core voltages, is there something i have to check? Gpu-z has vddc for all three cards at 1.045v. I assume i have some headroom? 1.2ish volts max for 24/7 or can i go higher?

besides, not many 290X can beat my 290 in benches. it is all silicon lottery.

edit: $900 - I'll get me a Black Titan whenever. Oh wait, I play Battlefield so have to stick to AMD.biggrin.gif

the 290x has 10% more stream processors. 2816 stream vs 2560 On average the 290x is 4-5% faster at the same clocks. Ie you could hit 1300 mhz on your 290 and a 290x would match it at 1235. I do agree to an extent it is more about silicon lottery though. Some 290s will beat 290xs when comparing overclocked results ie when a great overclockers goes up against a weak overclocker.

you must be using a older version of after burne. You need beta 18, or use another program such as Trix. 1.2 volts is fine for 24/7 as long as temps are under control. Hawaii is just like Tahiti just bigger so up to 1.3 volts is considered safe.

prolly 1250 on the 290X . . .

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7748882

to match that. like i said, in games - zero difference 'cause most 290 will oc at least 50 - 70 MHz.

edit: again, $900? i hope it does not BS.

In the settings tab of AB you can enable voltage control.
I would say 1.2 is safe for 24/7 but it all depends on your temps, 1.3 if you are under water.
Yes i think you have but you'll have fun finding it out, good luck.

Edit: Indeed as ebduncan said make sure you have AB 3.0.0 beta 18

Yeah, the Titan may win in overall FPS when it comes to BF4, but if you look at the scores from the 1 in 99th frame benchmarks, the AMD 290x card scores much better, thanks to their MANTLE API. smile.gif
So what I gather from that is that AMD have the overall best scores in lowest latency performance. wink.gif

even without mantle amd for battlefield. forget about who gets the highest fps. there are other more important things in play. imo, amd for battlefield games.

have you cancelled yet?
