So you say that when you got water blocks everything started working fine ? My guess is that throttling is somehow done by memory temp... because I don't know these temps and it always runs for few minutes fine. If everything else is fine than it's either this or 50% power limit is bs.

Try this, restart your computer, then before you open your game, open Afterburner and give it a sec to show up. Then make sure your OSD is set so that you can see your clock speeds, mem speeds, temp, voltage and gpu usage for your card while playing. Then open Trixx, adjust your levels and if you have a fan curve, try changing that to fixed fan speed 80% or 90% whatever you desire. Then once trixx has applied the new settings, open your game of choice. I never needed to go past 80% using 1100/1450 while on Air. It was loud as hell but it kept the cards under the thermal limit. See if that does anything for you.

In regards to my waterblocks, they just keep the VRMs and GPU core MUCH cooler allowing more OC room. The problem was fixed before I even put watercooling on them, it's just that it happened only when Afterburner had control of the card specs which only happened when I opened AB after Trixx and over rided Trixx settings I guess. Power limit just ensures your card can draw the power when needed it should work fine unless it's not applying it but I doubt that. If you can say what your full OC settings are that would help.

+50% power limit is the max as 375W is the maximum the (reference) power delivery allows, which is even 75W above what the card is designed for so you can even run the risk of damaging your mobo if its low-end enough (generally why most have the extra power connectors these days).

I just did another push run, this time more softly, and found I needed to set the power to +50% in CCC for it to work properly (not sure why trixx doesn't have it), 1200/1600 with +150mV, seemed to run nice but noticed a streak of corrupt pixels appearing on the screen, pushed to +200mV and it seemed stable, but it was peaking at about 350W in and the VRMs started going high so I pushed the reset button, oddly the drivers crashed at that point but at least it wasn't a full crash or lock...

The bracket is black silver instead of a shiny silver color, I mean the bracket which hold the DVI-D, HDMI and Displayport, so it looks a little bit darker also from the side view when it's installed in your case.I think It's a nice little touch to the cards, but nothing worth buying this one over the normal one for.

Here my Firestrike score with a R9 290 Tri X http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/2449196 (+200 mV) ASIC 81.5

My PSU is only a 480W BeQuiet E9, so i had to lower my CPU Clocks from 4.8 to 4.4 sad-smiley-002.gif

Quick question though, I'm getting different readings for the 2 cards on GPUz.

2816 shanders on one card, 2560 on the other.
176GTexel/s vs 160.
Memory GDDR5 (autodetect) vs (elpida)
Bus Width 32bit vs 512bit!
Bandwidth 20.2 GB/s vs 322.6GB/s

Can anyone explain this to me?! Is it just GPUz is bugged or is there something up with one of my cards? Running latest beta drivers.

One of the is running pci-e at x1 which is perfectly normal in idle. It is a part of the power saving things and it will ramp up in load.

Edit: NVM it normally doesn't cause issues like that. Have you tried unplugging the other one and just checking with one card in your pc? Any performance issues?
