Friend of mine using Antec 620 on (3) 7970s with heavy overclocks. Get high static pressure fan like Corsair SP120 and I'm willing to bet it will be more than sufficient to cool one of these.

Push/Pull with those fans works very well. He has AIOs for all his CPUs and GPUs and they all have Corsair Air Series fans on them, most (if not all) of the GPUs are running with push/pull.

For gaming my bro's 7950's don't break 50C with a single SP120. 290 runs hotter, but I'd wager you to be at or around the 60C mark while gaming; benches may push you higher than that.

Since you'll be running push/pull you could even use the SP120 High Performance edition with the 7V step down resistors to keep the noise down. I have the HP ones and they make some noise at full blast...not terrible, but more than comfortable for me. I spent $100s of dollars on custom water cooling for the benefit of silence, so I have to have silence!

I Think I have found the absolute limit of my GPU. Temps are still solid too. GPU 47 VRMs 71/40

XFX R9 290 BE @ 1315/1700 - P17940

200mV offset in Trixx came out to 1.422V

...Maybe time to try and push the 4770k a little more thinking.gif I want P18000!

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7996244

Check out this ridiculous wattage though! eek.gif

Will you bench Heaven 4.0 with your fans manually set to 100% and update with your temps? I'll do the same later when home.

I'm finding the heat of xfiring these cards unreal on air. So much so that I'm going to have to put them under water!

Yes I can.

Srock clocks, 100% fan, top card - 67C - bottom card 53 max.

That was with Everything maxed out in Heaven.
