Probably more like $550-600.  R9 280Xs (7970s) are up to $500 (even crappy blue pcb sapphire models).

Crazy cryptocurrency world we are living in.

I was going to buy the 670 but 320.18 came out and turned me off. I ended up with this . . .

VRM1 23.25% VRM2 12.15%

Excellent results, makes me happy I went ahead and bought them. I'm assuming that with a little cure time, the temps will possibly even get a bit better?

Haha, I should have sold my 7950 on ebay, I just get scared with scammer buyers, and morons that ruin cards flashing vbios for mining performance, that I sold it on OCN for not very much.

I hate ebay soo much.. I have my 7990 up right now and all i can think about is someone buying it and then 5 days later.... I would like a refund

In other news, EK have confirmed the DCU II waterblock will fit both the 290x and non X version and should be out in about 4 weeks!

You should see a solid benefit from it. I would be very surprised if temps didn't come down a helpful amount.

Glad to hear that it will fit the 290 as well! They looked identical but it's always good to have verification.

I sold my old 7970's and 7950's on Amazon and sure enough a few weeks later I get a guy saying "ohh it won't post. I have tried everything"... that stupid punk obviously flashed a bios and hardlocked it and of course AMAZON AWARDS HIM buyer protection. I get the card and it's got different bios. Amazon doesn't care.

I'm never selling a gpu again, except maybe on here and that's it. frown.gif

mine went smooth. the 7950 lasted for 2 mins. Sold. so, i posted my 7970 for $375 and i was surprised it lasted 24hrs.

i tried to sell the 7970 here in ocn for $250 but the buyer backed out after finding out powercolor's warranty policy.

edit: anubis, that 7950 had a $30 rebate and both cards have 3 games each.headscratch.gif

I sold my 7990 2 months ago to a litecoin miner woth a large farm. He sent it back and it never worked the same again. Saying it hard locked on him. Had to RMA it only getting it back yesterday and they replaced my nice malta with a three slot monstrosity. Who is going to want this?
