mine went smooth. the 7950 lasted for 2 mins. Sold. so, i posted my 7970 for $375 and i was surprised it lasted 24hrs.
i tried to sell the 7970 here in ocn for $250 but the buyer backed out after finding out powercolor's warranty policy.
edit: anubis, that 7950 had a $30 rebate and both cards have 3 games each.
Haha, nice, did you actually send in the rebate?
I sold my 7990 2 months ago to a litecoin miner woth a large farm. He sent it back and it never worked the same again. Saying it hard locked on him. Had to RMA it only getting it back yesterday and they replaced my nice malta with a three slot monstrosity. Who is going to want this?
Yeah, hearing stories like that are what dissuaded me from selling on ebay during the mining craze.
I sold my old 7970's and 7950's on Amazon and sure enough a few weeks later I get a guy saying "ohh it won't post. I have tried everything"... that stupid punk obviously flashed a bios and hardlocked it and of course AMAZON AWARDS HIM buyer protection. I get the card and it's got different bios. Amazon doesn't care.
I'm never selling a gpu again, except maybe on here and that's it.
Ouch, that is a bummer, sounds about par for the course. Buyer Protection could easily be renamed Scam the Seller.
