I installed the bottom fan before two days and i'm seeing an improvement of 2 degrees for vrm1 so it is ok. But there is no diferrence between side fan blowing out and in.

latest driver releases are 13.12 and betas 14.1 (haven't checked the specific build lately), you get these from AMD site only, don't bother with the manufacture sites for drivers, (BIOS and software however its good to look at your manufacturer's).

13.12 is highly recommended as it has the best stability currently, 14.1 has a lot of broken parts and should only be used to test mantle;

I am really puzzled after seeing it to be honest. And also, as for PSU, have tried running unigine heaven (full screen - for trifire) + cinebench, I dont experience shut down. Have tried
as well unigine + OCCT (power supply) and no shut down. That is why I am so much confident about my PSU.
abit weird on your results. I could see that clock settings and memory is same. same setting but difference results.

Sorry, Higher results is 1200/1600 for the 290's, CPU/Ram etc is all the same

bottleneck can occur even if the cpu is not pegging afaik. i know you are underclocking and leaving the cpu at stock but i've seen scores higher than that with just 2 290s. even higher. they may be oc'ed but still. your combined score is about 2600 pts lower than mine with an oc'ed 290 and i7SB.

your temp is not crazy high but it sucks you might not be able to oc if you want to and if the gpu is overclockable. have you played with the fans on top?

Running my 1100/1400 clocks in BF4 again without a problem, lets see how long that will keep working.

What do you mean? To turn them blow in? I am not sure this will be right - after all the hot air goes up. The gpu is overclocable. I cam make 1150/1500 easily with + 100mV with temps around 82 for the core and 85-88 for Vrm1.

Crysis 3 is a better stress test in my personal experience. My gpu is typically 3-4C hotter then BF4 after about an hour of game play. If I can survive an hour of Crysis 3, I'm pretty satisfied hehe.

Yep, Crysis 3 is a great benchmark.
