Email tech support: joe@frozencpu.com , he was very helpful to me with my questions, and I think considering the amount of time it takes you to receive items, it's well worth dropping a quick email. Also, I think you'll need this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/19690/ex-blc-1448/EK_Terminal_Block_-_Blank_Parallel_EK-FC_Terminal_BLANK_Parallel.html

Other than that block your cards, put the terminal block on the side by the ports screw it in together tightly with O rings and then snap both cards into the correct pcie slots and hook up your tubing.

I think he means for plugging up the unused terminal port.. I think you might need a certain amount of these:

For two, these are all you need for the GPU's:-

If you get the "Original CSQ" block, then you need EK-FC Bridge (Parallel+BLANK or Serial+BLANK), not Terminal. The "EK-FC Terminal BLANK Parallel" in the picture is for parallel. If you get "triple serial" instead, you'll need "EK-FC Terminal BLANK Serial". The backplate is optional but if you can afford, get one because it provide passive cooling.

Well, I get the feeling he wants to leave open the option of upgrading to tri's down the line, without having to replace the terminal...

Look carefully. I linked to TRIPLE serial Terminal/Bridge. When upgrade to tri-Fire, no need to replace the Terminal/Bridge.

Ok something odd just happened. I have a Powercolor PCS+ 290
Was gaming, everything fine, and then system made a loud screeching sound and screen went blue with a WHEA_INCORRECTIBLE error.

Now the gpu is idling at 33c core, 26c vrm1, 27c vrm2.

At current ambient, gpu up til now idles at 28-29c core, 18-19c vrms.

Checked the card and nothing seems wrong physically. But even leaving it off for a while, temps are not going down to where they used to be.

Any insight? Did something I can't see past the heatsink explode lol?

WHEA_INCORRECTIBLE is usually something I see when my CPU overclock isn't stable. Are you overclocking your i5?

However, I'm not really sure why your temps would have increased for your gpu. If you look at gpuz, do all your voltage readings look normal? Its possible that things are just heated up still from gaming and needs a good rest.

i am having a very weird problem with Sapphire Tri-X 290.

Basically, i use msiafterburner to adjust core/mem. I notice i am stuck at 830kh no matter what core/mem i use. Then i check with GPU-Z and notice a thing strange. On the "graphic card" tab - GPU clock and memory show exactly the core/mem i adjust in MSIafterburner (for instance 1050/1500). However on the "sensor" tab GPU core clock is always at 932 maximum. Even when i push core clock in afterburner to 980, 1000, 1020 or 1050 core clock will never go above 932 and in some case (1000) it goes down to 900. Using --gpu-engine in cgminer does nothing.

That's frikin Windows 8.1, dude.. You now will have to use your disk to boot back in to your system. Its in the 'Repair' options. Very inconvenient, I know. And when you get back into your OS, make sure to check your boot settings in your msconfig because Win 8.1 puts anything it feels like in its boot options..

Other than that, no. Probably not. just check that your fans on the GPU are all working.
