BTW, don't forget to get EK-FC Terminal BLANK Serial too if you're getting the Terminal Triple Serial.

Also you'll need probably want this for cooling the VRM1. The stock EK thermal pad unable to cool VRM1 properly when overclocked & overvolted. The stock EK thermal pad is fine if you're always running your GPU's at stock clock though.

Well I run at high resolution (eyefinity) 3+1 extended and like everything maxed out. But its more of my own OCD thing. I have built a quadfire machine every year since 2007.

My 4 x 7970 rig weighs in at 116 lbs , and I imagine the 4 x R290x I am building now will be about the same.

I just left Far Cry 3 on my computer while I caught up on some work and sure enough about an hour and a half later, my clocks were coming down and started going between 900 and the max clocks I set. Very weird, I guess it is back to 13.12. And I was really beginning to like 14.2 too = /

Well, if you dont play long enough to be an issue, why bother going back to 13.12?

Nice! I am finally playing the witcher 2 which I previously did not play because I couldn't with ubersampling.. That is also my OCD of needing things in max settings or it isn't worth it. Now it plays beautifully with 3x290x and I am really enjoying it. Great game so far! Just killed the kayran and will join the elves to find the kingslayer. Excited for the witcher 3 too.

Your only about halfway through

Make sure you play nice with the troll while you are in flotsam, that armor you get is key.

hehehe,ah yes, ubersampling. you are on my brainwave. I have the same  "if its not turned all the way up, its not worth it" thing. I am kind of a graphics whore as it were. :lachen:

oh yea that's a half common bug with some games/engines, skyrim for example can loose proper mouse control if you alt-tab/minimise, but the crossfire thing is something like the drivers thinking the program was closed, and of course the profile doesn't get re-loaded as its already open when you try to play again, or at least something similar to that.
If you hit escape to go into the menu or tab to go into your inventory/magic/skills before tabbing out you don't get the stupid second mouse cursor floating around anywhere when you tab back in. Kind of a stupid fix when it shouldn't be happening in the first place, but once you get into the habit of it you don't ever have to worry about it happening again.
