On stock I encounter no problems so I'm guessing it is my OC. but the VTT and CPU ratio is leaving me stumped.

It's usually an uphill battle in this hobby   Just have to tinker some more...maybe reset to stock and start over.  I find IBT to be a better stress test than Prime; I believe I read somewhere Linpack is what Intel uses to test chips...Anyone comment on that?  Just keep in mind IBT will bring temps up a bit higher than Prime, ~20C from my experience.

I just noticed that too this evening when i was trying to find my max bclk.
The best i got was 200 MHz BCLK at 1.13V VTT. passed IBT for 5mins(initial test). max temp was 59 in a 26 deg C ambient. Not sure if I should increase VTT more at this point. Trying for a 4.0GHz OC.

I'm back..

So I ordered a AquaComputer 290x waterblock and the aktiv backplate about a month ago and the ETA was about a week so I decided to wait. It's now been a month and the date just got pushed back another 30 days so I've cancelled the order with them.

I'm just wondering what the best choice for block would be?

  • EK Fullcover Acetal Nickel Link
  • Koolance VID-AR290X Link
  • Aquacomputer Copper (Nowhere does Nickel frown.gif ) Link
  • Any other suggestions avaliable in Australia? Price isn't much of an issue as I should be getting $250 back from the other block.
  • I'd love to get a block to match my heatkiller CPU block.. But that doesn't look like it's gonna happen either.

Hmm, went from 13.12 to 14.3 and I've gotten a few blue screens already. Anyone else having this issue?
