If the frame rates don't go up when you lower settings then you are CPU limited and the GPU is waiting around for the CPU to send it frames to render. Are you using Mantle?

Anyone know if the vsync+crossfire audio crackling issue has been fixed in 14.4? I am playing far cry 3 with vsync off but the cutscenes still use it anyways and the skipping and cracking make me drop my headphones around my neck until the scene ends. I heard 14,4 fixes this, but i hear they also bring a host of other probs vs. 13.12. Anyone running 14.4 and is happy?

By the way two cards seems to be working well. For those who addressed my psu issue last night.

or is there another one?
Does this version allow voltage past 1412mw?

Yup thats the ASUS GPU Tweak version, be really really really really careful, I can't stress this enough, the interface is so cluttered I almost accidentally dialed 2000mv once since I briefly confused it with the memory clock tab.

The PT1T can be found here:

Did you use the DOS USB ATIFLASH or the ATIwinflash? I had issues with the ATIwinflash when I did mine but the bootable USB worked like a charm.

I used bootable USB and it has worked on my reference cards before, don't think I did anything different this time but it doesn't have any video out put on that bios now.

is it likely if I flashed the PT1 bios to my 290x xfire setup I would be able to overclock more than 1150 on the core w/ +100mV.

I guess what I'm asking is it likely i'm voltage limited or just my cards hit a wall.

You can use up to +200mV with Trixx, I'd try that before I flashed the PT1. I can't remember if the PT1 gets rid of Vdroop or not, but that's the only real way it would help you with the same voltage, and using Trixx would let you simulate that by using the higher offset.
