They should have more of them during the holiday sales... I mean it would be stupid not to xD
I ran my R9 290X when it was working properly with 3 monitor set-up at 6020x1080 resolution, everything maxed out except AA which I turned it off in-game and just let the CCC use its own AA settings and I was able to get on average of 45-60fps and during intense situations (when theres a lot of players with explosions everywhere! LOL) the lowest I see it dip is 32FPS, but even at 32FPS its still smooth. You know when sometimes you see FPS drop to 30fps and you really feel it, like you can really see the screen not as smooth as normal but with my experience with this one even during those dips I didn't sense any sluggish feel to it, it was still smooth.
1440p should still be alright with everything maxed including AA and still be right around the constant 60fps but anything over that is probably either 4K monitor or eyefinity set-up and you would need either to turn off AA and maybe turn the Tessa a notch down to make it keep higher FPS or get a 2nd card.
But in consideration tho, I am using FX-8350 with this card so if you are using a i5-3570k and above, you will see a higher minimum FPS than I do, probably around 5 maybe upto 10fps higher than my minimum fps of 32 which isn't bad.Edited by Sazz - 11/4/13 at 7:39pm
